She, and the rest of the staff at 360 Fitness, are very professional and have the expectation that when I come to their gym I work hard. Marie pushes me, but also has the experience to know when to pull back and when to push harder! 360 Fitness is a place to have fun and exudes a comfortable and genuine atmosphere for everyone.</p>
<p>Over the last six months I have watched my body transform far beyond my expectations. I would never have attained these results alone and can thank Marie and 360 Fitness for helping me along the way. I now see 360 Fitness as an irreplaceable part of my life!</p>

		<description><![CDATA["I feel healthier and happier every time I finish a session"]]></description>
			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I joined 360 Fitness a month ago not knowing exactly what I should expect from the gym and my trainer. I felt immediately at ease by the way Brooke took the time to learn about me before making up the training and eating plan. I never felt like I was receiving a cookie cutter training plan that everyone was placed on.</p>
<p>The overall atmosphere of 360 Fitness is welcoming and friendly whether you are speaking to another trainer or client. I have consistently felt that my goals and success are celebrated by all those at 360 Fitness, but especially by my personal trainer Brooke.<span id="more-837"></span></p>
<p>Within a short month I have already seen the results of this dedicated training. Depending on how progress is gauged: I have lost 10 pounds, done my first real set of pushups, and decreased my overall body fat percentage. Even without these measures of progress I feel healthier and happier every time I finish a session.</p>
<p>I look forward to seeing further progress as Brooke continues to encourage me each step of the way.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>When I attended the grand opening of 360 Fitness in early November of 2009, I had no idea the journey that i was about to embark on!</p>
<p>The  first thing I noticed about 360Fitness is the staff are extremely positive, friendly and knowledgeable about your health. They genuinely care about your well being.</p>
<p>In my initial assessment I learned a number of things about myself that I had not known. I learned goal setting and a methodical approach towards achieving them.<span id="more-831"></span></p>
<p>Marie adjusted my diet, and I have to say, since I started on it I have not been hungry once! I also learned some of the mechanics behind nutrition and how it affects the body.</p>
<p>In three months I have gone from a Body Fat% of 28.5% down to 22%!  Pant size of a tight 42 inch down to a 36!  My energy and self confidence have skyrocketed, I recently completed a category 1 Aviation medical and my blood pressure had dropped 10 points, which is substantial. With the positive reinforcement from the staff I have completed tasks I never thought possible.</p>
<p>Thank you ever so much to the staff of 360 Fitness for providing the tools and knowledge required to helping me achieve my fitness and personal health goals.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>When I first joined 360 Fitness I was feeling tired all the time and found myself about 35 pounds overweight. I decided it was time for a change and just walked into 360 Fitness. I instantly felt comfortable and loved the atmosphere there. The next day I found myself set up with one of their trainers, Brooke Einarson. Brooke has worked with me from Day 1 and has provided me a customized workout and nutrition program that fits my lifestyle; she helped me set goals and has encouraged me to stay with those goals. In just months I have noticed huge changes. I have increased energy, better posture, better eating habits, and overall better health. I am constantly losing inches and feeling better than I have in years. Brooke has actually got me to love coming to my workouts, and I can say for the first time in my life I actually look forward to coming to the gym. Most importantly Brooke has taught me to make my health a priority in life.<span id="more-826"></span> I remember from Day 1 I told her I didn’t want my workouts to take away time spent with my children and she simply replied if you workout and are in better health, you will live a longer, healthier life and therefore you will spend more time with your children; and she is right. <p>Thank you so much for your knowledge and care that you put into our workouts. It is easy to tell that being a personal trainer is not just a job for any of you, it is much more. We look forward to what the next months will bring for us.</p>
<p>This has been the find of the century for our family! Unforeseen occurrences can change our lives in a bad way in the blink of an eye, it is nice to know that on this occasion, it has been for the good. 			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Like most women, I tried all the diets, Atkins, South beach, jenny Craig, Weight Watchers and many more. It wasn&#8217;t until March 2009, when I met Marie Lynn, my personal trainer at 360 Fitness, I realized for the first time in my life, this is not a diet it&#8217;s a life style change.</p>
<p>Marie started with a full body assessment to determine my goals, back in March I was only concerned about weight, now I know that it&#8217;s all about being fit and healthy.</p>
<p>I weighed myself daily wanting to shed those unwanted pounds. But until I became serious about what I really wanted, that&#8217;s when I became successful.</p>
<p>Within weeks, I started to notice my body was changing&#8230;my confidence soared and I realized how happy and confident I was becoming.<span id="more-759"></span></p>
<p>Like Valerie Bertinelli, I was able to put all my &#8220;fat clothes&#8221; in a bag and get rid of them for good! I went from a size 9 to a size 4 within months!</p>
<p>It was with good support and passion from my personal trainer Marie, that helped me every day reach my goals. She always greets me with a BIG smile and is able to push me to limits I never knew I had.</p>
<p>Her clients become her friends; she has always been there for me. We definitely work as a team. My success is her success! The best way to make your dreams come true is to wake up!</p>

His first question to me was &#8220;why are you here?&#8221; My answer: I had registered to swim in the 2009 World Masters in Sydney Australia in October 2009. My thought was if I am going to go that far I wanted to be in the best possible shape I could be in. I was overweight and unbeknownst to me held little confidence in my athletic ability.  Well &#8211; I have just returned from Sydney and my fitness is at a level I never even imagined possible. I have lost 55 pounds and 53 inches! In the 15 months I have worked with Jack I have developed both the mental and physical strength to do things I would never have considered.</p>

<p>Our first workout in the gym was spent doing squats for 45 minutes. Squats, Jack told me, were the bases of so many exercises I needed to get them right. He insisted we stick with it until I got it right. I hated him for that and soon learned he was right he was right! What he showed me on that first visit was his professionalism &#8211; he taught me right then getting it right was important and he would work with me until I got it.</p>
<p><img src="https://webmail.mta.ca/horde2/imp/view.php?actionID=113&amp;index=8908&amp;mailbox=INBOX&amp;thismailbox=INBOX&amp;id=2" alt="*" width="11" height="11" /> There were days when Jack asked me to do things that I was pretty darn sure were not possible for me to do. He knew they were possible. At some point I think he got to know me better than I know me. A real advantage for him because he takes the approach of what I can do. I was stuck on what I couldn&#8217;t do (and still get stuck there occasionally).</p>
<p><img src="https://webmail.mta.ca/horde2/imp/view.php?actionID=113&amp;index=8908&amp;mailbox=INBOX&amp;thismailbox=INBOX&amp;id=2" alt="*" width="11" height="11" /> As he introduces new exercises he explains them well and is patient as I struggle to master them. The first few are often clumsy yet he sticks with me, encourages me to believe in myself and most importantly &#8211; trust. Trust myself and trust him (although it&#8217;s sometimes hard to believe he isn&#8217;t going to set me up to hurt myself).  After a set or two I CAN do it. Every time I am on the gym floor he challenges me mentally and physically.</p>

With each challenge he throws my way he continues to build stamina and strength and it also builds confidence.  He seems to have a knack at knowing when he can push me to the next level. When I struggle he reminds me of times when I thought I couldn&#8217;t do something then with a little push I did it. Those images of previous success give me the energy to dig deep and finish the task at hand.</p>
<p><img src="https://webmail.mta.ca/horde2/imp/view.php?actionID=113&amp;index=8908&amp;mailbox=INBOX&amp;thismailbox=INBOX&amp;id=2" alt="*" width="11" height="11" /> He knows when I need a kick in the butt and when I need a pat on the back and willingly gives whatever is required.</p>
<p><img src="https://webmail.mta.ca/horde2/imp/view.php?actionID=113&amp;index=8908&amp;mailbox=INBOX&amp;thismailbox=INBOX&amp;id=2" alt="*" width="11" height="11" /> Through casual questions about food, stretching, life, etc, he has kept me focused and accountable.</p>
<p>Each of those factors had been missing in my own exercise routines. In the past, I would get on an &#8220;exercise kick&#8221;; I would develop a plan and stick to it (sort of). I would use DVD&#8217;s, run, take the odd spin class and do yoga workouts but I never REALLY pushed myself. I really thought I was; now I know I wasn&#8217;t. Had I not met Jack I would still be doing the same routine (or less) and wondering why it wasn&#8217;t working.   This is no longer an &#8220;exercise kick&#8221; &#8211; this is a lifestyle.</p>
<p>When I started my focus was 100% swimming. With increased strength, flexibility, cardio ability, confidence and decreased weight things started to evolve (and they still are!). I had dabbled in sprint triathlons over the years and had even run a ½ marathon in 2000, something I swore I would never do again.  In the summer of 2009 I completed my first ½ Ironman. It was incredible &#8211; I swam 2km, biked 90km and then ran a ½ marathon (yes &#8211; the same distance I swore off in 2000). I have just registered for my first Marathon for June 2010 and have plans to do two ½ Ironman&#8217;s in the summer of 2010. While I still grimace when I say &#8220;I am an athlete&#8221; that is what I have become. Becoming an elite athlete or participating in these kinds of distances are not for everyone and I am not suggesting everyone needs to do them. The message in that is, we have all set limits on ourselves that we aren&#8217;t even aware of what they are. By working with Jack you will learn to challenge those beliefs, push past the barriers you have built and accomplish things you never thought possible.</p>

		<description><![CDATA[When my friends started noticing my improved strength and weight loss, I knew I had a good thing going]]></description>
			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I started working out with Brooke when she came to our school for her practicum. She ran an exercise~program for teenage girls and I joined as a staff member for support.</p>
<p>When my friends started noticing my improved strength and weight loss, I knew I had a good thing going. I encouraged some other friends to join me and now we have been working with Brooke for 3 months.</p>
<p>As a 51 year old woman, it is important to me that I have exercises that are going to keep my bones strong and my mind alert.  Brooke is always attentive to proper technique and is constantly educating us as to why she is making us do certain exercises.  Brooke runs a great program with lots of variety.  She is always giving us little nutrition tips while she is putting us through our cardio, weights or core strengthening exercises.  She changes our routine as our capabilities increase.  She has just the right balance of pushing our limits and encouraging our success.</p>
<p>I am looking forward to the next three months!</p>
